NINTENDO

There's a lot of new and exciting things in store for nintendo this coming year. Including the release of their new handheld system, the Nintendo DS:

Nintendo's new handheld system the Nintendo Dual Screen was revealed to the press at the E3 show followed by a demonstration of a few of its games. The Nintendo DS is not completely done in its final design so there might be some little changes and such but the idea will stay the same. The nintendo DS is backwards compatible so gameboy advance games work on it by putting the games in a slot at the front of the system. Meanwhile the DS catriges go into a back slot. The DS catriges are a lot smaller then GBA ones. They are roughly the same size as SD cards that are used in digital camera's or pocket PC's. Other features include nintendo's very own wireless blue tooth techonology making for some very interesting ideas. The nintendo DS has a pending release of November 2004 but this may very likely change.

The newest RPG's coming out for nintendo system's where revealed at this years E3. Here's a list of them:

The Legend of Zelda (GC Working Title)
Tales of Symphonia (GC)
Paper Mario 2
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (GBA)
The Legend of Zelda: The minish Cap (GBA)
Phantasy Star Universe (GC)
Star Fox (GC)
Pokemon Fire Red (GBA)
Pokemen Leaf Green (GBA)
Megaman Battle Network 4 (GBA)
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA)

What was Sega's big announcement? Phantasy Star Universe! That's what! Sega surprised the world with an anouncement of another Phantasy Star MMORPG for the series. Although no information was released about it just a trailer saying: "The rebirth of a whole new Phantasy Star legend. Let the next generation of games begin." and the official site release nothing yet, not even the platform has been decided for the game that sneaked its way to the E3 game floors. People assumed however that it will be released on the gamecube for sure because of the large user base but is it possible to be released on other systems as well? time will tell.

Another shocking revelation took place at E3 or at least close to the E3 when nintendo revealed media details about it's next Zelda game:

The Legend of Zelda (Working Title). No more is link cell-shaded or a little boy anymore as shown in the following images captured.

Check out this trailer at gametrailers.com and fest your eyes upon the game that will most likely rock the gamecube right out of its foundation.
