Winner: Digital Devil Saga's Plot
There were many moments that made us be all like "Whoa" this year, so we decided to choose a champion among them. This award is given to a collection of various cinemas in the Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga series.

Early in the first game, at a part when the party returns to base, an ally ( we'll call him "X") that doesn't get along with another character (we'll call him "Z") comes out in his beast form. Z's all cool like "What are ya gonna do? Ya gonna eat me?" After some yelling, they all hear this waaay creepy song like the requiem from Nausicaa. It's sung by that girl they found in the crater, and very, very chilling. Everybody just stops what they're doing and she emerges from the shadows, still singing. The guy in beast form freaks out, screams some, changes back to human, and the scene resumes. It was awesome.

And both games kept this kind of thing up. Their whole style and presentation definitely made us be all like "Whoa."
