It comes out Tuesday and I really hope it's not going to be a huge disappointment like I feel it might be. Looks promising at least. _________________

If nothing else, the trailers are good. We can always hold those tight -- "Imagine the game this could have been!" -- instead of the game proper. _________________ H-E-S-T-E-R is a long, convoluted joke. |

I'm picking it up in about a hour. I'll have impressions this weekend. _________________

The game is awesome but still has its downsides.
Augmentations take care of your skills as well as your abilities. There are still no seperate skill/aug set like the first one had.
Inventory is handled normally and guns can be modded, mines made and your inventory expanded.
Storyline is very well done and really takes tips from the first game. Invisible War was still good (all you haters) but didn't match the atmosphere of the first. This one does.
Pros:
-The augments are pretty damn cool and there are quite a few of em.
-The game can be a challenge and you have a lot of paths to take even if they all lead to the same place. The "I'll get past this spot my way!" satisfaction is almost always present.
-Gameplay is smooth and the stealth works great. Metal Gear Solid on crack.
-Adam Jensen sounds just like JC Denton...
Cons:
-It's feeling like it's going to be too short.
-There isn't much sandbox to the game which I wish they would have added. The city hubs are ok but there aren't a lot of them.
-You can't pick up as many things as you can in the first one.
-You don't really have to specialize much. Chances are if you play most of the game you'll have enough Piraxis points to make your character do everything you want him to.
-The damn energy cells should at least regenerate to 2 bars by default if you are maxed out... _________________
