Anyone else excited about this game? I know it was discussed a little bit in the "What are you playing now" thread. I was just wondering who is picking it up and for what system?

Mortal Kombat 2 was the shit. I think I was the only person that liked deadly alliance which I destroyed everyone at. I even beat the asian dude that me and solice know IRL with reptile and he fucking worked at Midway at the time!

Liquid you probably think Tekken is not a good fighter as well. Psh... shows how much you know.

Tekken is terrible. All 3D fighters are terrible, except Bloody Roar.

Deadly Alliance was the last MK game I played and enjoyed. The sequel to that was a little disappointing cause it seemed they cut out the longer combos and balanced it boringly for online play.

But yeah, coming up with your own custom combos in Deadly Alliance was mad fun. I played it a lot with my RL friends but they played Kung Lao and were better than me.

Me, Luke, and one of our other buddies used to play Bushido Blade and Bushido Blade 2 non stop. We even had a drinking game for it. Those games were hands down awesome.

Luke, remember when you found that one secret character, the generic ninja guy, and there wasn't even anything mentioned about him on the internet or anything? Fuck we played the hell out of that game.

I'll be waiting until this MK is in the bargain bin and buying used because really, paying to play online is stupid. So I simply won't play online and therefore, will only pay rock bottom for it.
