I would rather it be made in RPGMaker 2K3, using sprites from Lufia, FFVI, etc. etc.

Seriously, who the hell plays TRPG's anymore? Genre redefining gameplay my ass. It's still just a fucking TRPG. You run around a grid map with anime characters and kill bad guys.

Who plays shooters anymore? You run around a grid map with sci-fi characters and shoot bad guys.

Who plays platformers anymore? You jump on things' heads and kill them.

Who plays fighters anymore? You have attack buttons and combos and you just bash bad guys with your fists, legs, and/or projectiles and/or melee weapons.

And so on...

Yeah, nobody ever actually plays any videogames anymore, they just bitch about them to people they don't know on internet forums.

The difference is, all those genres are fun.

I still like TRPGs, but then again strategy type games have always been my favorite genre.

No, in fact, I'm glad it's on PSP, as that means I can actually play this one.

I am slightly bothered by it, if only because I really liked the graphical engine of the first one. Otherwise, as long as it's as fun as the first one I'm all about it.

I'm only bothered by it because it's not on any of the two current-gen systems I own :/
