Hello!
I have been a long time lurker and finally found a reason to make my first post =P
I currently have a factory sealed snes ogre battle that a friend so kindly gave to me. I really dont know the value of it, and was wondering if anyone could give me some estimates? I haven't decided if i am going to keep it yet or not, I may consider selling it if the price is right.

Saw one on eBay sell for over $300 a year or two ago. Just sell it. The game isn't that great, plus you can always emulate it or by a much cheaper cart-only copy. Some idiot will pay you hundreds for the one you got easily

Unless you played it perfectly and balanced the leveling of your army the difficulty ramps way out of control about midway through the game and it becomes unplayable. I've sunk dozens of hours in that game and have never come close to beating it. Also it did bad autobattle before FFXII made it chic.

It was kinda fun. But either you're just micromanaging everything to get good reputation and it quickly becomes a chore (Retreat!! You could crush that enemy but you're way too lawful neutral to finish that fight!) or you don't care and it becomes stale.
Secrets are also ridiculously obscure and needed for a ton of shit.
Sell it for 200 bucks, emulate, yeah. |
