im gettin married

...but not in a week.

What Happened

This surprise was sprung on me during my recent trip down to visit Heath for Christmas. It was the night I got there, the 20th, and it was dark and cold outside. We built a fire on top of the hill and then things got rather movie-esque...

Needless to say, I accepted. Apparently he couldn't wait until Christmas, when he had planned to pop the question. Much congratulations followed from his family. My family has yet to find out, which could pose a few problems in the short term, but I'll tell them soon enough.

Anyways, here's a picture for you all.

For those who didn't get the reference or whose RPG Land forum history might be a little foggy:
Quote:
<Rage> And yes, I'd rather you make the thread. Wink
<Tiptail> Should totally make it a parody of that thread Rika made.
<Rage> Hahaha
<Rage> And post this conversation in it.
<Tiptail> XD
* Tiptail goes to find that old thread to remember what constituted it.

<Rage> "im gettin married in a week."
<Rage> and a poll.

So anyway, we're currently examining late June as the time of wedding, and Saskatoon (Janelle's hometown) will most likely be the place.

Hey, how about more pictures? Here's the two of us being absofreakinglutely nerdy, as we probably will be throughout our marriage:

And here's one a lot of people asked for copies of when I was showing pictures around at the Christmas party:

Not to be a dick or anything. Good luck.

Eight of my friends that got married are already divorced and have kids.

That made me realize that I should wait till my 30's till I even think about it.

Make a road trip out of it, you weenie!
With you, Orie, Quinton, Tim, and Sistance...the hours driving there should go by fairly quickly. Plus you'll proably be high.

Dude, you're lucky to live relatively close. Plane tickets from Kentucky are already $600 =(

Congrats, you two. Also, whatever you do, don't give the child one of those freakish modern style names. It doesn't have to be exotic, or have an odd spelling. Just open up the New Testament. There are almost three pages of inspiration there, if you need it, and all of the names are socially acceptable!

I see two understandable reasons there for forgetting you.

Well...the location is....where I'm supposed to be...not where I usually am at this point. And pfft once again at my posts there...freaking forums who enjoys 'em? But I certainly spend more than enough time in IRC, so shush.

I didn't even know this guy existed. Apparently I need to go to the irc more often, now that I do know which ports to open. Maybe another day.

I'd respond to the poll but I honestly have no idea what any of those lines signify. Anyways, I've congratulated you in person but what the hell, it's the Internet. Congrats yall. I'll be more jubilant if you tell me there's an airport within like 3 hours of the wedding site. That'd make things easier for the RagePirate to crash this beast. And what'd Fran get you for a wedding gift? I'm itching with curiosity on that one.

Kinda tilt your head to the left and they form emoticons.

It'll most likely be in Saskatoon, in which case the airport is like, no more than 20 minutes from the wedding site. And if by chance it's in Brookville, it's just an easy few-hour drive for you.

She knitted Janelle a quilt. It was actually pretty nice.
