Too bad all u fkrs get is a cross post from the Disco! Spent!
DUUUUUUUUUUDES!!! Wii bowling is the BEST FUCKING SHTI EVER!!!!!
I added like 6 new Mii friends to my machine today, brining my gtrand total to about 20 ppls... We actually orchestrated a team tournament of about 12 people tonight (some of them first time players) and it lasted about three hours. It was probably the most fun anyone should be allowed to have playing video gamees... Even the non gamer ppl among us were all ike WOOOOOOOOO... I swear to christ this video game console is going to bridge the gap between nerds and real people... its already made a huge impact in my group of friends, even if just for bowling alone... after the bars closed and we ate at george webbs, we came back and the last six of us just got done taking turns at bowling a few rounds... i decided it was probally bettr to come to get some sleep so here i am, but it hink thy are still uot there playing. fuckit that game is so frickin rad!!! im beginning to think it alone was worth the 250 bucks... for the only commercial game ive played being rayman rabbits, for me to wanna call this the best console system ever might be a bit premature, but i dont think it couldnt be justified... there's just so much potential for ass kickery going on here!!!!!
one of ythe dudes who was playing today has barely ever touched a video game in his life but as soon as he saw us playing he instantly wanted to make a Mii and try it out and he was flummoxed the whole fucking night about how bad he wanted one... the wii has that kind of drawing power. i cant wait to pack it up and show my folks. every time i talk to them i thank them for it since it was like the best xmas gift ive ever gotten...
how many of u guys have 20 mii's in ur box, each representing an actual friend you have? i must be in some kind of exclusive club or something. i can still name about a half dozen of my close friends that have never even been here since i got it, not to mention my brother, his wife and their myriad friends... i just wanna show everyone!!!1 the coolest ting is that EVERYONE, i dont care who they are, wants to play this shit the frickin instant they see it, even if they dont know a joystick from a d-pad... its like some kind of fucking people magnet!! my roommates in particular are freaking mad for it, even when we're trying to get new ppl to play it they try to wedge themselves into a round just because they cant get enough... _________________

Yeah crazy...I saw a Wii display tonight at Best Buy with the girl doing the video demo...my wife who NEVER plays games was like "I'd play that!" when she saw the bowling. It's sold out but for once she agrees that'd it be a fun system to buy, especially when I explained about the old school games you can download for it.
I think the end of the world must be near. _________________

Seconded. Did you know it was called "Street Gangs" in Europe? God that's almost as bad as "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles." _________________

That 12 player, pass the Wiimote style multiplayer doesn't seem very fun. I hope there's better modes than that. Also it's gonna be a bitch having to get more Wiimotes to play this. I won't buy the game til I have at least 1 or 2 more. _________________

That's not good... The multiplayer in the Cube version is the only reason to own it. _________________

Are any of the games on the VC playable online? If not, why is the VC cool at all? _________________

Because buying things on eBay can be a hassle. Also time travel. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I guess the advantage is that they can release a bunch of titles quicker than if they made them multiplayer.... or something...
They should do something though. Sorry to say it but XBLA is more appealing, imo. I own almost all the NES, SNES and N64 games I could want. When they start releasing more "out of place" games that I actually care about then I'll be interested. _________________
