nintendos attempt to "fix" the wii....with another gimmick console...when will they learn? IT will sell i m sure, but its software wont.

Software eh? I can't wait for the third party developers to make like 1-2 games each before giving up and then the last 7 years of the Wii-U life is nothing but Mario, Kirby, Zelda, and Pokemon games... just like the Wii.

So we're about 5 days away. Is there anyone who has any interest in the Wii U?

Full disclosure, I am getting one at launch. My wife pre-ordered it as an early Christmas present for me and she wants to play New Super Mario Bros U. After that, I can't really decide if any games look like they're worth getting.

Actually, I've been looking forward to the Wii U. The launch line up isn't the greatest, but I think there's a bit of potential that just hasn't been tapped yet. Also, I collect game consoles so it's really a perfect gift.

One of the single greatest uses of the Wiimote easily, but hardly one of the greatest games ever made. Simplistic bowling video games have existed for decades. There's a better bowling minigame in Grand Theft Auto 4 and that uses an actual controller so, you know, you actually have control over what you do...

Yeah, but you can't go to a dingy dive bar with a bunch of friends and play GTA4 bowling while drinking $3 giant beers til 2am either, but you sure can do that with Wii bowling.
