Been playing the hell out of BFBC2 lately. I'm a few chieves away from S-ranking it (bunch of tedious Vietnam chieves and a really, really time consuming one). Gonna try and get it done by the time BF3 comes out.

Bad Comps Dubs is pretty fun. Been playing that a lot on Steam the past year.

You are talking about the multiplayer right?

Is there even a single player? I never tried it.

Been playing LA Noire. I really like it, but I think it would have been a lot better if you could totally fuck up an investigation and arrest the wrong person and the real culprit gets away and shit. As it turns out you can fumble your way through the entire case like Barney Fife and still catch them somehow.

Also the end of the Homicide portion was retarded. Flat out retarded. Rest of the game seems to be plugging along well though.

Acend do me a solid and get in on the Arche Age beta since you used to live in korea.

Apparently this is the next Darkfall/UO and you need to go check it out for me. It is getting a lot of looks. But the fact that it is Korean makes me Sad.

It is made with the crysis 2 engine so it looks pretty as fuck.

In Homocide, you could arrest the wrong person. You knew it was wrong because your chief would scream like hell at you as soon as the case ended. It was delightful when I'd put 2 1/2 hours into a case and then fuck it up at the very end.

But I do agree that the very end of Homocide was completely idiotic.

I'm playing the Game of the Year version of Morrowind on an old Xbox console and my mom is playing the heck out of Two Worlds II on the Xbox 360.

Two Worlds II seems alot smoother than it's predecessor. The graphics are beautiful and I've laughed out loud several times at the dialogue.

Is it intentionally funny or incidentally funny?

Well, both really. The game does a good job of making fun of itself. The game mostly consists of miscellaneous quests and the banter in them gets fairly amusing.

Since I'm almost done with L.A. Noire and there's a bit of a summer slow down with games I'm interested in so I decided to finally pick up The Orange Box for 360 since I could get it free from Amazon.

Looking forward to finally trying Portal and playing TF2. I'm apathetic towards Half Life, though.

Beat LA Noire and fired up New Vegas again. I really love that game. I'm about 30 more hours into it and I'm not even close to completing the main quest. In fact I don't think I ever completed the main quest.

Is it weird that I'm hoping Skyrim will use the Dark Messiah game engine? That game was a ton of fun to play and if it was in an open world setting would probably be one of my asll time favorites.

Hate to break it to you, but you're not really going to be playing TF2 on the 360. The game is in the same state as it was when Orange Box was released. It's not the same game as it is now on PC. Not only that, but there's no one playing it on there. Me and three friends have Orange Box and we throw it in for shits on occasion and we're lucky to get 2 other people in a game with us.

Have fun with Portal though, it's one of the best games ever made.

Half Life 2 was great, but in 2011 that probably won't play.

What's weird is how much you like New Vegas. Even with more patches than a hobo's jeans, that game is still more glitchy than an Atari 2600 E.T. cartridge deep fried and dipped in chocolate.

I enjoyed Fallout 3 for about 50 hours, and then I couldn't take any more brown environments and glassy-eyed puppet people. I can't imagine subjecting anyone to that again.

But, I still love the Fable games like a battered housewife loves her man no matter what. We've all got our vices.

I liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas a lot, but after about 250 hours spent between them, I'm really done with that franchise for a good long while. I'll get the NV DLC as it goes on sale so I can maintain my S-rank, but I've completely given up on that engine until Skyrim comes out and hopefully fixes the datedness of that series of games.

Oh, I still love the Fable games as well. Glitches and all. I think what always does it is that I don't pay attention to any of the PR from Peter or Lionhead (well maybe a little for Fable 2 but I was soooo excited for that). Going in fresh to the first one was great. The game feels like you're playing a fairy tale and it has some of the best humor I have ever encountered in any game. Tongue in cheek, absurdity, dry British wit. Its like almost like Montey Python mixed with Disney mixed with Brothers Grimm. I'll probably always be a fan of the Fable series. That and the Tales series always seem to make me happy no matter what they are like.

Orange Box arrived yesterday which makes the free shipping all the sweeter.

Played Portal for about two hours. It's fun, but so far it hasn't been the world-breaker that everyone and their mother has been talking about since 2007. The humor is some of the best in any video game I've ever heard. My wife watched about 5 minutes of me playing and left the room because she said it was going to make her throw up. I'm hoping the puzzles get a bit more advanced as I continue on. I'm at room 18 now, so we'll see.

Not sure what XBox Live LiQuid's been playing on because I was on for 3 solid hours playing Team Fortress 2 with plenty of people. And since I prefer consoles to PCs, I don't really feel like I'm missing anything by playing it on the 360. LiQuid, if you ever feel like playing a match or two together, my gt is PWOLegend. I'm beyond awful at TF 2, but it makes it feel like more of an accomplishment when I actually do something in the game.

Haven't given Half Life 2 a shot, but it wasn't a high priority on my list. I'm sure I'll try it once I finish Portal and L.A. Noire.
