1. Why do I care when or if something has been passed around like a cheap hooker at a bachelors party if its good and new to me.

3. Most things this site and forum is dedicated to is pointless, doesn't take away from the experience.

Busted out my copy of Shadowrun (360) again yesterday. For as disappointing as that game is, it sure is amazing. I really wish I could convince more people to try it out since you can get a used copy of it for a single digit amount of dollars (less on PC).
One thing that boggles my mind is that while MS owns the rights to the game, it's still $30 on Games on Demand. If I were Microsoft I would be literally giving that game away to both 360 and PC players at this point to get some new players in there or lord willing, try to salvage the IP. It still (surprisingly) has a fair amount of people playing it, but they all seem to be really, really good at it. There's so much nuance in the ways all the spells and tech interact with each other that the game has a learning curve that doesn't seem like it will ever level out.

Been playing NHL '11 lately because of the excitement of the playoffs. Wish they would've put out some sort of roster update mid way through the season.

Yeah. Unfortunately, you're right. Luckily, there's nothing coming out between June 20, and October 18 that I'll want. It'll give me time to pay down some bills and set aside some money.
And depending on who is on the cover, I may not even bother. |

They do have roster updates from the trade deadline. Just play a game online and it automatically updates them. Back out of the online game if you just wanna use the updated rosters for a playoffs or season. It kinda sucks because they kept up with injuries too. I tried to play as the Devils online once. Big mistake without Parise. Then again, the New Jersey Devils are a big mistake to begin with so that one's on me.

I played like 2 hours of Radiant Historia. Whoever mentioned the walking noise in this game was not fucking around. It's exacerbated by the fact that Yoko Shimomura's music is so awesome you want to play the game with headphones on but then moving around town all you hear is CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK
It's god damned maddening how stupid Japan can be sometimes.
The premise is kind of cool though. Kind of like a Choose Your Own Adventure RPG that actually encourages you to fingermark a page before you jump to see how the story progresses. The battle system seems decent/rewarding enough, though maybe a little too involved for my tastes.
Anyways, not sure if I'm gonna keep playing it or just go download the soundtrack instead. Doesn't seem like the story is going to go anywhere interesting. Just a lot of political intrigue and zipping around time.

I wish someone would remake some of the Ultima games. I've always enjoyed what little I've played and would love to get into it but I just can't get over the interface. It is just sooo awful and acts as though it too is an enemy that must fight the player.

Mortal Online claims to have remade UO but failed miserably.
As of right now Darkfall is really the only modern MMO that has the same feeling of UO. Supposedly they fixed everything as far as grind is concerned but I will not have time to check it out till around november when I get scheduled less at work.
If you own mount and blade Warband you should play the CRPG mod with me. I know phynx/piparchdevil has but it has gone through some more changes. Also Strategus which is basically and overworld mod that puts everyone on the map like in Warbands single player mode and you fight your battles online against eachother.... is right around the corner.
I am playing with the goons and we got a good thing going on right now. We can't wait till they start up strategus again.
We are LLJK(Lots and Lots of Jolly Knights) in the lower right hand corner.
