Shark leaps from tank, attacks Prime Minister at safety control meeting

tmpphp6n3bpm.jpgA meeting was held at Australian parliament to discuss stricter safety controls at Australian beaches following a shark attack in January.

A first in the history of the country, a delegation of Australian sharks arrived to protest the discussions. Jaws Jenkins V, the leader of the delegation, demanded that the sharks be granted similar protections to the aboriginal hunting rights. Doing less would be “outright discrimination,” Jenkins said.

The debate became heated, and when Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made a reference to tuna in relation to Jenkins’ mother, the shark leader lept from his seawater tank and bit off the Minister’s genitals.

Minister Rudd is currently in stable condition at the Canberra Hospital, and Jenkins is currently being held at the National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra, which the shark community has decried as “an insult.” It is unknown what further action will be taken.
